Many people want to know how to add a caption to an image in google docs. So we will try to discuss this topic in today’s article. There are many of you who do not find any option to write the caption when you add the image in Google Docs. So now I will tell you a way through which you can add captions to the image in Google Docs.
Writing in Google Docs is a very simple thing that we all know but when we add an image in Google Docs we can’t find any option to caption it because there is no option in Google Docs.
I have chosen the drawing option to add images to Google Docs because it is easy to add captions to images. I follow this method when I do add images caption in Google Docs. You can try it if you want.
- First Google Docs opens the page, then clicks on the Insert button. When I click on the Insert button, I see a feature.
- In that case, there is an option called Drawing. When I move the mouse pointer over the drawing option, another feature comes out. This feature has an option called New. Then I click on it. Then an interface called Drawing comes out with the option to add images and text.
- There is an option to insert an image option icon at the top right of the drawing page by clicking on it to take the image from Google Drive or a computer. Then there is an option called T on the left side of the drawing page by clicking on it.
- There will be an option to add text. You can write a caption. When the text is added below your image, there is a button called Save & Close at the top. Click on it.
